Change one common image format locally, choose quality when it matters, and make transparent-to-JPG backgrounds explicit.
Convert Images Between JPG, PNG and WebP
Convert only the three common formats browsers can verify well: JPG, PNG and WebP. The downloaded result is checked against its real image signature, not only its filename.
How to use this tool
- Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- Select a different output format and set quality for JPG or WebP.
- When a transparent image becomes JPG, choose its visible background before converting.
- Download the checked local result.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a transparent PNG need a background for JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency. The tool lets you choose white, black or a custom color before it creates the JPG.
Can it convert GIF, HEIC or animated images?
No. The first version rejects formats outside JPG, PNG and WebP so it never silently exports only the first animation frame.
